Looking for new music to OUTSHOUT?

We just added a new page listing some of our favorite music sites (there’s a pointer now right on your MY SHOUTS profile page, and on the Send page). These are sites we visit on a daily basis because they give us a well-edited selection of ear candy that we normally wouldn’t find anywhere else. Each one offers an ever changing selection of free and legal MP3s, all (for the most part) hosted with permission. If you find something you like, you can (most times) do the right click and ‘Save Target As’ thing and save the MP3 file directly to your computer. If you really, really like it, remember to use Amazon or iTunes and help support your favorite artists so they can continue to give us the great sounds we love.
Feature Update 01/02

We just added a couple of cool new things to the site this past week:
- A new page pointing to our favorite MP3 blogs that offer free and legal music downloads. (Hey you’re not just limited to what’s on your computer — there’s a whole world of great stuff worth listening to from artists that would love the promotion). When you find something you like, just do the right click ’save target as’ thing. OUTSHOUT away.
- You may have noticed that during the week before Christmas we pre-loaded a few gems in everybody’s SHOUT list (Frosty The Snowman in Swedish, Jingle Cats…) for some instant holiday cheer. We’ll be expanding this pre-load option in the weeks to come (stay tuned).
- We optimized the flash downloads on all pages so the site should be super snappy now.
- We added some additional notifications in your homepage welcome box so you know when you have new friend requests and new OUTSHOUTS.
